About

Conference Overview

While the EV-shift has attracted much attention mainly in light duty automobiles, many breakthroughs are still necessary for battery and motor systems from the point of view of life-cycle-assessment and material resources. E-fuel is now allowed to use for vehicles as carbon neutral fuel so that the modeling and diagnostics of combustion using e-fuel are urgent topics. Thereby, the powertrains with internal combustion engines have excellent potential to provide the optimum practical solutions for issues including global warming. In this symposium, engineers and researchers in industry and academia from all over the world will discuss an extensive range of topics from fundamental to applications in internal combustion engines, including fuels, combustion technology, chemical reactions, modeling, diagnostics, engine control, and lubrication issues in the pursuit of optimum and competitive solutions for future powertrains.
